Community Multisig Deployed
The Tally Ho Multisig has been created for a single purpose: to safeguard Tally Ho Swap fees until the DAO treasury is live.
As we rapidly approach the DAO launch, it’s important to keep increasing community stewardship over all facets of Tally Ho.
That’s why we’ve created a volunteer-led Community Multisig. The Tally Ho Multisig has been created for a single purpose: to safeguard Tally Ho Swap fees until the DAO treasury is live. You can see the Swaps announcement here.
After the DAO launches, the treasury will receive Swaps fees and the Community Multisig will act as the default “emergency governance,” which the DAO can accept or reject.

It’s a 3-of-5 Gnosis Safe, created on Feb 2, 2022:
All five signers are volunteers and Discord moderators who have helped steward Tally Ho for 6 months or more:

Matt Luongo began organizing volunteers into a private Discord room for verification on Jan 7, 2022. Each signer confirmed their addresses and participation on both Discord and through one or more E2EE messaging apps. On Feb 2, the multisig was created, tested with a 5-of-5 policy, and then converted to 3-of-5 policy. On Feb 11, the first Swaps transaction from a Tally Ho QA build deposited funds in the Community Multisig.
Governance Power
Tally Ho is using the Community Multisig for a single constrained function. It will safeguard Tally Ho Swap fees until the DAO launches, and has no further governance powers. The Community Multisig:
- Will NOT act as the Tally Ho DAO Treasury
- Will NOT issue Grants or vote on protocol or feature updates
